Our purpose built Fabrication shop was opened in 2006. The pre cast concrete panel building gives us over 650 square meters of room to work. The fabrication shop is separate to the machine shop and office across Rose St. Our 25 tonne crane can get to all points and with 8 meters of clearance, gives us the flexibility we need.

Welding Procedures-

We have developed, tested and qualified a range of welding procedures to AS/NZ 1554.1 -2011. Our welders are then qualified to those procedures.

Trade Qualifications-

All our fabricators at present are fully trained tradesmen or trade apprentices. That experience and expertise shows through in a quality product.

Materials-

All materials are delivered to us with the mill certification. If a Manufacture Data Report (MDR) is required we relate these mill certificates to the items produced as per the shop drawings.

Surface treatment-

We have the facilities for spray painting smaller jobs but our preference is for Hot dip Galvanising which we outsource. We also outsource larger painting jobs particularly when coatings with particular application procedures have been specified.

We conduct testing in consultation with the client as required prior to delivery.
